IT’S HERE !! YOUR CHANCE TO HAVE A OFFICIAL WORLD HANDICAP SYSTEM(WHS) HANDICAP
IGolf is England Golf’s Official Digital Community.
For the first time in golf’s history, non-club members in England can now obtain an official handicap. England Golf, the governing body of the amateur game, is offering non-club members access to an official handicap index under the World Handicap System (WHS), which launched in England in November 2020.
Access to the official app of England Golf, My EG, allows subscribers to submit general play scores for handicap purposes, input scores, calculate your Course Handicap, view your playing record as well as connect with friends and receive relevant updates.
England Golf has arranged through Bluefin Sport, part of a global insurance broker and risk advisor Marsh, to provide £10m individual personal liability for it’s iGolf subscribers that covers play on all UK golf facilities.
Guys, this is ideal for those golfers who, for various reasons, do not wish to currently commit to being a member of a club, but still want to obtain an Official Handicap.

The New Membership season now allows us to book 1 Tee Time at Both Courses with the minimum booking of a 2 Ball at both.
HAPPY GOLFING
Steve and Red
It was brought to my attention by one of our members, that Trethorne have changed the times we are allowed to book over the weekend period.
I contacted Trethorne for confirmation and was informed “this had been changed over 4 months ago”
Unfortunately the committee where not given any notice of this, so I’m afraid at this present moment, Raleigh Members are only allowed to book tee times after 1000 Saturdays and Sundays.
This is to allow full members of Trethorne GC the opportunity to play prior to these times.
Hopefully this will only be a winter period issue. “Watch this Space”
Yours

To all members,
We have replaced the monthly bookings system with a rolling month bookings system”. I.e.; “As one day goes off, one day comes on” for example if I was making a booking for today the 19th July, you would see in the bookings section dates up to the 19th August. Tomorrow from the 20th July until 20th August.
Any problems with the above explanation, please contact Red Setterfield or myself.
Addition to previous note,
To Read: Wrangaton and Bovey Tracey 1 Tee Time per day – 7 days a week, minimum booking 2 Ball, at either W or BT, NOT BOTH.
